Shearwater Perdix 3 is created for the diver who wants a dive computer that can keep up, whether the trip takes you on a calm shore dive, a deeper wreck dive or more demanding technical diving. It combines Shearwater’s well-known ease of use with a strong and robust construction, advanced dive settings and a large AMOLED screen that is easy to read underwater.
Perdix 3 is an especially obvious choice for those who want a dive computer they can grow with. It works brilliantly as a serious computer for recreational diving, while also offering enough features for trimix, CCR, decompression diving and air integration with multiple transmitters. This makes it a computer that not only suits your current level, but also the dives you want to be able to do in the future.
Ultra-clear AMOLED screen
Perdix 3 is equipped with a large 2.4” / 6.1 cm full-colour AMOLED screen, which delivers high contrast, strong brightness and excellent readability underwater. This makes it easier to quickly read depth, time, gas data and decompression information, even when conditions are not perfect.
The screen can be customised with different colour settings, allowing you to optimise the display according to your own preferences and the conditions you dive in. The new “Big” display layout also allows for larger text if you want a simpler and clearer view of the most important information.
Robust construction with titanium
Perdix 3 is built to handle serious use. It has a reinforced casing, a precision-machined titanium bezel and titanium piezo buttons, which protect the electronics and provide a solid, reliable feel in the hand. This is a computer made to be used. Its strong construction makes it suitable for everyday use, travel, boat diving, wreck diving and other demanding situations where your equipment needs to withstand a bit of everything.
Intuitive user interface and clear alerts
Shearwater is known for dive computers that are easy to understand, and Perdix 3 builds on that tradition. The updated user interface makes the menus more intuitive, so you can quickly find the functions and settings you need. At the same time, Perdix 3 has powerful vibration alerts, helping to ensure that important messages are not missed during the dive. This can be especially useful in situations where audible alarms are difficult to hear, or where your focus is on your surroundings, your buddy or a task.
Air integration with up to 4 transmitters
Perdix 3 supports wireless air integration with up to four Shearwater transmitters. This allows you to monitor gas pressure directly on the computer and makes it easier to keep important information in one place. For recreational divers, it can provide a better overview and a more streamlined setup. For technical divers, support for multiple transmitters allows for a more advanced configuration, where multiple cylinders and gas mixes can be included in the dive plan.
Advanced dive functions for both recreational and technical diving
Perdix 3 supports a wide range of dive profiles, including Air, Nitrox, 3 Gas Nitrox, OC Tec, CCR/BO, Gauge, Freediving and Avelo Mode with unlock code. This makes the computer flexible enough for everything from regular sport diving to technical diving with trimix and decompression.
The computer uses the Bühlmann GF algorithm and has full decompression support as well as integrated NDL and deco planners. This makes it a strong tool for divers who want precise information, good planning and the ability to customise the computer to their own diving style.
Practical details
Perdix 3 uses a single replaceable AA battery, so you can easily change the battery yourself without special tools. With the recommended Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA, the computer can deliver up to 60 hours of battery life, depending on use and settings.
It also has high-speed Bluetooth, making it quick to transfer dive logs and update firmware. With a log capacity of approximately 1000 hours of diving, you have plenty of space to save your dives and follow your progress over time.
