General conditions for the purchase of courses, one-day tours and events, etc., by Diving 2000 A/S. Including Flex insurance, certification, and reimbursement of course fee.
Clarification of concepts:
A course means a diving course held 100 percent in Diving 2000 A/S or with official partners.
Flex insurance means an insurance policy that covers you in relation to illness or, if you are prevented from participating in the course activity at the last minute.
Events are events held by Diving 2000 A/S or by official partners.
Course fee means the total price of the course, excluding course materials.
Conditions when purchasing course:
All registration for courses is binding, so are the course dates - and no refund is given for the eventual attendance or non-passing course (see section on Flex insurance).
Certification:
Certification requires that all skill requirements be met according to PADI's international standards and that the full amount of the course is paid. If the skill requirements cannot be met within the framework, you must expect to have to complete - as well as pay for an additional module, which will be tried held as soon as there is room on an already planned course.
The price of an additional module is 900DKK equal to 120euro.
Requirements/expectations:
At all courses in Diving 2000, emphasis is placed on maturity, accountability and understanding of the substance. If you do not meet these conditions, we reserve the right not to issue a certificate.
This also applies if you are not well prepared and/or do not have relevant equipment for the course activity in question.
Especially on our technical courses, great emphasis is placed on being well prepared and showing maturity, responsibility and understanding of the special nature of technical diving. If you do not meet these conditions, we reserve the right not to issue a certificate.
Reimbursement of course fee (applies to all courses):
- When canceling a course more than 30 days before the start of the course, 75% of the course price will be refunded.
- Note: With Flex insurance you will be refunded 100% of the course price (if you opt out more than 30 days before).
- When canceling a course more than 2 weeks before the start of the course, 50% of the course price will be refunded.
- If a course is canceled less than 2 weeks before the start of the course, no reimbursement is given.
- In the event of a full or partial absence from the course, no refund is given.
- If the course participant has started the course but has not completed this within 9 months of the start of the course, the opportunity to complete the course expires.
Flex insurance:
If you have taken out insurance in connection with the course enrollment - it is possible to move the course if you are prevented at the last minute – or if you are prevented from completing a course.
The insurance is personal and allows to move to another course once. You can move to a course on a different date (up to a maximum of 9 months forward) if there is room on this course.
If the selected course is more expensive, you must pay the additional price. Any refund, if the selected course is cheaper, cannot be expected.
The insurance allows for a 100% refund in cases where the cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the start of the course (see section on "Course Fee Refund").
In addition to the aforementioned, the insurance does not entitle you to reimbursement of course and/or materials.
Price for Flex insurance: 10% of the price of the course - including materials.
Please note that when purchasing Flex insurance, the cost of hotel stays is not covered.
Events
Registration for one-day tours and events is binding and no refund will be given for any event, for any reason. However, it is possible to move the trip to a different date, set by Diving 2000, if you have taken out insurance that costs 10% of the total price of the activity.
The insurance is like the registration personal and allows to move date once. You can move your participation on the diver tour to another diver tour on a later or earlier date (up to a maximum of 9 months forward) if there is room on this dive tour.
The cancellation must be reported to Diving 2000 before the start of the activity. You can only move the diver trip once per sign insurance. Any price difference must be paid if the activity is more expensive but is not refunded if the activity is cheaper. The insurance does not allow for a refund.
We reserve the right to cancel a given course if there is not enough participants.
