Designed to be the perfect companion to Scubapro's Spectra masks, the redesigned Spectra Dry is the ideal snorkel. The large-diameter upper tube allows for plenty of airflow, and the new dry top design actually seals the tube when the snorkel is submerged, eliminating the need for snorkel clearing when it resurfaces. An efficient purge valve located at the lowest point of the snorkel expels any water that may enter the airway, preventing the annoying gurgling sensation you get when breathing from a "wet" snorkel.
The lower corrugated part of the tube is flexible, so when you switch to your regulator, the mouthpiece hangs down and out of the way. When you return to the surface and switch back to snorkel breathing, the mouthpiece fits in regulator style and securely between your teeth, ensuring a comfortable fit no matter how long you swim.
