Seac Viva diving mask for children
This is the mask you should choose, due to the very large front lenses.
We recommend
this mask for diving/snorkeling/beginners going on vacation. A higher quality mask that can stay watertight for many years.
A silicone mask, made from the strongest material that never hardens and therefore stays watertight. This ensures a better experience (without water in your eyes!). This mask is free from harmful plasticizers like PVC and phthalates.
General tips for diving masks:
The first test you should do is to place the mask on your face without putting the strap around your head, then inhale through your nose. The mask should now stay in place on your head. At the same time, note if the mask feels uncomfortable anywhere, often under the nose or on the bridge of the nose.
Once you've purchased your mask, the first thing you should do is take some toothpaste and apply a layer on the inside of the lenses, then rub it around thoroughly. This is done to remove the film the manufacturer has applied to prevent scratches on the lenses before the mask is sold. Remember to rinse thoroughly with fresh water afterward. If you skip this small step, you can be sure that your mask will fog up throughout its lifetime.
Maintenance after diving
For the best care of your mask, it’s important to rinse it thoroughly with fresh water after each dive.
Periodically, you can wash it in a mild soap solution and add a little Rodalon to remove bacteria that can cause mold on the mask skirt.
Always dry the mask before storing it safely in a plastic case, which can be purchased below.
