Waterproof D7X Nylotech Tri-Lam
Overview
The Waterproof D7X Nylotech Tri-Lam is a high-performance drysuit designed for divers with demanding standards for comfort, flexibility, and durability. Constructed from the newly developed Nylotech Tri-Lam material, this suit combines abrasion resistance with a soft and flexible fit. The D7X features a slimmer and ergonomic shape that provides enhanced freedom of movement and reduced bulk.
Features
Material and Seams
The D7X is made from Nylotech, a Tri-Lam material engineered to be both soft and exceptionally durable, tested by the Martindale Method. The suit is stitched with single stitching and soft rubber-taped seams, ensuring both flexibility and durability, providing great comfort during dives.
Front Zipper and Fit
The long, curved YKK/BDM metal front zipper is positioned high on the shoulder, making it easy to don and doff the suit and enhancing upper body mobility. An anatomical fit with pre-bent arms and legs offers extra freedom of movement, while a seam-free crotch area further enhances comfort.
SI TECH Systems and Insulation
Equipped with the SI TECH Quick Neck System with silicone neck seal, the suit provides comfort and easy replacement. The wrists are fitted with the SI TECH QCS Oval Ring System, compatible with the ULTIMA dry glove system, making seal replacement easy. The suit also includes Waterproof’s unique Warm Neck and removable Warm Cuffs for improved insulation.
Pockets and Reinforcements
The D7X features spacious Power Pockets with zippers and expansion options, allowing divers to choose between large capacity or a streamlined profile. The pockets are equipped with stainless AISI 316 D-rings and double cord loops. The suit is further reinforced with Kevlar® on both knees and boots for added durability.
Additional Details
An anti-slip seat provides extra grip and abrasion protection, while a heavy-duty zipper cover increases safety. Additionally, the Chill Guard retains body heat and protects undergarments from the zipper. The telescopic torso and adjustable suspenders enable divers to adjust the fit to their preference.
