The Waterproof W8 7mm is a newly designed, high-performance front-zip wetsuit crafted for divers who seek optimal comfort, flexibility, and protection. With the same precise fit and Scandinavian design as the W7 model but featuring a front zipper for increased mobility. Made from Neoflex four-way super-stretch neoprene, the W8 ensures a soft and flexible experience. Equipped with the innovative WaterDam, double-sealed zippers, thermal lining, Kevlar®-reinforced kneepads, and spacious pockets for essential dive equipment.
Features
Material and Seams
The W8 is made from 100% microcell Limestone CR Neoflex super-stretch neoprene, offering exceptional durability, insulation, and flexibility. The seams are glued and blind-stitched with high-quality nylon thread, providing maximum durability in demanding conditions.
Zipper and Fit
The suit features a YKK #10 Vislon front zipper with a corrosion-free slider, positioned at the side of the neck for added comfort and flexibility. The 3D anatomical design with pre-bent arms and legs provides maximum freedom of movement, while Wave Flex panels in the arm and leg hollows further enhance flexibility.
Thermal Lining and WaterDam
The W8 includes a super-stretch thermal lining that helps retain body warmth, and the unique WaterDam prevents water from running down the neck and spine, keeping you dry and warm while diving. Double-sealed zippers at wrists and ankles make the suit easy to don and doff and minimize water ingress.
Pockets and Reinforcements
The W8 has two super-stretch pockets with drainage valves and loops for storing extra equipment such as a spare mask or deco tables. The knees are reinforced with Kevlar® (Aramid) and Duratex, adding durability without compromising flexibility, while the seat and elbows are also reinforced with Duratex for abrasion resistance.
Additional Details
Anti-slip prints on the shoulders and waist keep the weight belt in place, and EasyGrip zippers provide easy handling with or without gloves. Computer strap anchors with anti-slip functionality hold your dive computer securely, and molded velcro at the collar allows easy adjustment without damaging the material.
