The new plant-based Scubapro Everflex Yulex is the first diving wetsuit on the market made exclusively from sustainable natural rubber. The farms that produce the raw materials are strictly socially, environmentally, and economically responsible due to their FSC certification, which aims to protect our environment.
Scubapro takes sustainability a step further! The seams are glued using solvent-free adhesive, and the polyester used for internal and external coatings is derived from 45 recycled plastic bottles per suit.
High-quality material guarantees durability and safety in diving.
In terms of quality, this environmentally friendly solution does not compromise. It is just as pressure-resistant, comfortable, and thermally protective as traditional limestone neoprene. Long-term tests of the suit's durability and resistance show that it easily withstands many years of intense diving in both saltwater and chlorinated water.
There have been small improvements, especially to the parts of the suit that experience noticeable mechanical stress. The additional reinforcements include a durable coating on the seat and shoulders, as well as extra rubber pads on the knees and shoulders.
The double blind-stitched seams are also glued, waterproof, and highly flexible.
A good fit creates good thermal protection.
Like the well-known Everflex, Yulex is also designed according to Scubapro's Pure Design. The concept ensures optimal thermal protection and freedom of movement by using only the necessary material thickness on different parts of the suit. To further enhance thermal protection and overall comfort, the suit is reinforced with the warm Blue Diamond Span Fleece lining on the upper body, double cuffs on the legs, and welded arm cuffs, which also guarantee a good seal on the Yulex suit.
Due to the innovative design in thermal protection, the Yulex suit has been certified as a CE Thermal Class B diving suit.
The suit is also equipped with an additional zipper on the collar and extra padding has been added to the compression-molded zipper design located on the back to protect your spine. All the zippers used are high-quality YKK zippers with brass sliders for durability, waterproofness, and easier donning. I-straps are also placed on each arm to secure your wrist instruments.
