Socks

Neoprene socks are mostly used for snorkeling as well as UW-hunting. While neoprene boots are required when scuba diving. Mainly because of the fins recommend for scuba diving are open-heel fins which fits a neoprene boot.

Neoprene socks are thinner and used with full-foot fins which are recommend for UW-hunting and snorkeling. A growing child might even use a pair for neoprene socks in a bigger size of fins. This way the child might be able to use the fins for a longer period of time. The socks are also great for increasing the comfort when wearing fins as well as prolong the snorkeling season in Denmark because of the extra isolation.

Neoprene socks are mostly used for snorkeling and spearfishing, not so much for scuba diving. This is because the fins recommended for diving are heel-strap fins, which usually fit neoprene boots. Neoprene socks are thinner and used with full-foot fins, which are primarily used for spearfishing and snorkeling. A growing child, for example, can use a pair of neoprene socks in swim fins that are still a bit too big. This way, the child can use the fins for a longer period. They can also help extend the snorkeling season in Denmark a bit, as neoprene socks provide extra insulation.
