Overview
The Scubapro MK17 Evo / S600 is a reliable regulator system that combines SCUBAPRO’s best-selling second stage with its environmentally sealed first stage. The MK17 Evo is completely sealed off from external elements, ensuring trouble-free operation even in cold or murky water conditions. With improved internal design and increased airflow through the low-pressure ports, hose routing is optimized. The S600 features a rugged fiberglass-reinforced nylon casing and a stainless steel front face, delivering a steady and effortless flow of air, regardless of depth.
Features
MK17 Evo – First Stage
The MK17 Evo is equipped with an air-balanced diaphragm, providing constant and effortless airflow, unaffected by depth, tank pressure, or breathing rate. Its environmentally sealed system protects the mechanism from water and pollutants, increasing reliability in harsh environments. The dry chamber enhances freeze resistance, ensuring smooth airflow even in the coldest conditions. The system offers a significant improvement in airflow (6900 l/min compared to 6500 l/min), providing optimal balance in air supply.
S600 – Second Stage
The S600 is designed with an air-balanced valve that reduces inhalation resistance, making breathing easy at varying depths and pressures. Its durable metal valve housing ensures long-lasting performance even in demanding diving conditions. User settings include an adjustable inhalation knob and VIVA dive/pre-dive switch, preventing free flow. The oversized bore of the super-flow hose allows more air to flow with each breath, while the orthodontic mouthpiece provides comfort without restricting airflow.
Performance and Comfort
The MK17 Evo and S600 deliver high performance with maximum air delivery through two high-pressure ports and four High-Flow low-pressure ports, offering flexibility in hose routing. The air-balanced technology in both the first and second stage ensures smooth breathing, even under the most demanding conditions.
