XTIS Technology
The new MK2 EVO is equipped with the patented Extended Thermal Insulating System (XTIS), which provides ultra-fast breathing response and maximum airflow with minimal effort, regardless of how cold the water is. XTIS completely isolates the mechanical components from the cold, increasing freeze resistance by an average of 50 percent compared to the current MK2.
Improved Compact Design
The MK2 EVO is also more compact than the original MK2, yet it has a larger piston that increases airflow by 15 percent, even though the overall size is smaller. This ensures excellent breathing performance, whether you're diving a coral reef in warm Caribbean waters or exploring wrecks in the chilly Great Lakes.
Freeze-Resistant Construction
The MK2 EVO is the only first stage with a downstream valve in its price class that offers systems and internal components specifically designed to resist freezing in extreme cold-water conditions.
