- Freedom Technology Fit II
Freedom Technology improves fit and performance exclusive to TUSA. The Freedom model masks feature a skirted surface with an indentation of various silicone thicknesses and stability edges in addition to a proprietary low-friction skirted surface on the fitting line. The new Fit II technology adds strength and stiffness to the skirt for use in harsh environments.
- Tri-Mix Frame
Three (3) different layers combine to produce a superior frame structure. Polyurethane (PuRiMaX) and a transverse metal frame combined with the superior strength of the polycarbonate frame bolted together to create a seriously strong mask.
- UV 420 Lens Treatment
UV 420 lens/glass treatment protects against harmful high energy visible light, also called (HEV - High Energy Visible) and its potential to damage the retina. HEV light is not only present on sunny days, but also on cloudy days. Therefore, it is extremely important to protect your eyes from UV and HEV light in all weather conditions when diving.
- 3D Mask Strap
TUSA patented 3D strap is a true three-dimensional design that fits perfectly against the natural curvature of the head. The 3D strap offers unprecedented comfort and fit, unlike standard flat mesh straps.
- Angle Strap Adjustor With Side Hold
The skirt-mounted five (5) angle strap adjustment allows for a micro-adjustment in five positions on both the left and right sides of the mask. This allows the vertical (up/down) and horizontal (left/right) pressure on the face to be carefully adjusted for the optimal fit.
- Anti-Reflective (A/R) Lens Treatment
TUSA anti-reflective (A/R) lens treatment reduces reflected light both internally and externally. This reduction increases light transmission to 95%, resulting in significantly improved color, clarity, contrast and better overall underwater vision.
- Corrective Lens
Corrective lenses are offered on several mask types. This option allows the diver to select right and left lens power in both a range of diopters for maximum flexibility and for a custom fit.
- CrystalView Optical Glass
CrystalView optical glass lenses provide superior clarity, color and transmission of light over standard glass lenses used by competitors. Up to 15% of available light can be lost with a standard glass lens due to impurities and reflectivity. TUSA CrystalView lenses transmit up to 95% of available light to the diver for clear sharp vision. CrystalView lenses are used in all TUSA Pro diving mask models.
- Quick-Adjust Buckle System
The quick-adjust buckle system includes a redesigned low-profile buckle. The result is a compact, lightweight, technologically advanced mesh design that can be easily and quickly adjusted for a perfect fit.
- Round Edge Skirt
TUSA Round Edge Skirt is a sectional skirt with a proprietary round edge. This rounded edge results in a soft fit that suppresses pressure and reduces curling back to the face. The "flat fit, instead of linear fit" in silicone ensures the skirt maintains great fit and unprecedented comfort.
