Diving2000 A/S is looking for a sales assistant with a flair and desire for sales, advice, and guidance in our dive shop in Odense. We are rapidly developing and we are moving fast, very fast. Therefore, we are looking for a new colleague for our team.
Diving2000 is a well-established brand in the diving market with more than 35 years of experience. Our sales platforms are the lifeline of the business and right now we are looking for a new colleague.
As our new colleague, your task is to give customers an outstanding experience and contribute, together with your colleagues, to increase sales and turnover.
 
As a sales assistant in our store, you work with several of the world's leading diving brands.
We work in a niche industry where customers come because they are passionate about their hobby.
So we also expect you to like diving and nature.
That's why we rarely encounter unhappy people. Your day-to-day will not be boring – it will be busy, challenging, inspiring and filled with highly competent colleagues.
 
We are looking for…
Whether you are an unpolished talent or an experienced salesperson with years under your belt is of lesser importance to us, but we expect a desire to talk to and inspire other people. In addition, you will take part in the shop's development, daily maintenance, and future plans. To succeed as a sales assistant at Diving2000, you must be a result-oriented, proactive person with a burning desire to drive sales.
We are looking for a goal-oriented colleague who has an open and honest approach. You should want to help the customer find the right product and do what it takes to close the sale. It is a requirement that you are adventurous and if you are not already dedicated to diving, freediving or snorkeling, then we expect you to want to become it. We would really like it if you are already a trained diver - If not, we expect you to have the desire and mindset to become one – Quickly. Our future colleague must be proficient in English, both spoken and written. If you know Danish, that is a plus.
 
The tasks as a sales assistant are many - You will among other things..
• Give our customers a fantastic experience when they shop in our stores
• Be engaged in the sales and service tasks in the store
• Help process orders from our webshop.
• Ensure that the store is impeccably maintained
• Assist with purchasing goods from Danish and foreign suppliers
• Help create new ideas that can grow the business
• If you have experience with marketing or online sales, this is definitely an advantage
• Administrative tasks
• Good IT skills, as our business is very IT-driven.

We have existed, sold , and serviced diving equipment for more than 35 years, and with your help, we expect to continue for many years to come. Our diving course center is recognized for high activity and quality. The latter has earned us several distinguished awards from our training organization PADI. As a sales assistant, you will work closely with the diving course center, its students, and our more than 25 freelance diving instructors.
